狂想曲 ｜大尺度的“微改造”

The Guangzhou 8 Outlets Holidays project is located in Conghua District, Guangzhou. The developer completed a 110,000-square-meter European-style outlet district in 2018. However, due to various reasons, it has remained vacant and never opened, urgently needing revitalization. This is a large-scale 'micro-renovation' project that requires low-cost, rapid transformation to create a youthful and trendy 'new species of outlet.'

广州八号仓流溪河奥莱小镇项目位于广州从化区，业主于2018年建成约11万平米的欧陆风情奥莱街区。然而由于各种原因一直闲置，未能开业，亟需重获新生。这是一个超大尺度的“微改造“，需要低成本，快速的改头换面，创造出一个年轻时尚的“奥莱新物种“。

On the foundation of the existing European-style streets, we aim to implement a 'light renovation' approach, blending a more comfortable, youthful, vibrant, and fashionable aesthetic. For instance, we will tone down the luxurious feel and replace it with a more modern and trendy color scheme, using unified and simple color palettes to maintain a clean and refreshing visual experience.

在原有欧陆风情街肌底上，我们希望以“轻量改造”的方式，融合更舒适年轻、更有活力、时尚感的调性。比如弱化奢华感，取而代之是更具时尚感和现代感的颜色系统，用统一的简洁配色，在整体上保持干净清爽的视觉感受。

The facade renovation follows a logic of melody and variation, relaxing the originally dense and tense architectural spaces to express themes of wilderness and 'wild luxury.' This creates a 'wild' atmosphere for urbanites seeking mini-vacations. The surrounding area of Guangzhou, historically a melting pot of overseas influences, provides a rich cultural backdrop. The inclusive nature of Lingnan architecture offers an interesting solution and cultural context for the fashionable remix of these 'pseudo-antiques.' This inspiration led to the creation of a locally flavored, English-Cantonese mixed project slogan: 'Nei gor outlet yau D yeh' (This Outlets has something special)."

立面改造以旋律和变奏的改造逻辑，令原有密集，紧张的建筑空间放松，表现郊野，野奢等自然的主题。为城市微度假的人群营造“野”的氛围。而广州周边的侨乡，从来就是杂糅了舶来语汇的大熔炉。岭南建筑的丰富包容，为这些“假古董”的时尚化再混搭，提供了一种有趣的破局线索与文化背景。并且启发出在地风味浓厚，英粤混杂的项目Slogan——“呢个outlet有D嘢”。
