As times evolved, Changchun Tractor Factory declared bankruptcy and closed in 2006. With the abandonment of the factory buildings, the surrounding area gradually deteriorated. In 2020, Vanke undertook the redevelopment of the former tractor factory, bringing what was once the most fashionable industrial complex back to the historical stage.

随着时代的发展，长拖在2006年宣布破产并关闭，随着厂房被废弃，厂区周边也日益破败。2020年万科对原拖拉机厂进行重新规划，让原本最时髦的厂区重回历史舞台。

Although the machinery had been cleared out after years of closure, the rare concrete trusses and thin-webbed beam structures remained, showcasing the innovative structural forms from China's challenging era in the 1950s. The concrete columns clearly display the formwork techniques of that time. These are indelible marks left by history. The vast factory space exudes a cathedral-like atmosphere under sunlight, with a sense of spatial order and grand aesthetics that we aimed to preserve.

虽然因关闭多年，里面的机器残留已经被清空，但其中罕见的混凝土桁架和薄腹梁结构，体现了50年代中国困难时期独创的结构形式。混凝柱清晰显示了当时的模板工艺。这些都是历史留下的不可磨灭的痕迹。空旷的厂房空间在阳光下呈现一种殿堂般的氛围，这种空间的秩序感和宏大美学是我们希望能保留的特质。

The new and old structures are separated, with internal reinforcement measures ensuring building safety. New elements such as floors and walls are installed inside the existing factory building. The facade design retains the original silhouette, paying homage to history and continuing the memory of its form.

新老建筑结构脱开，内部采用加固措施，确保建筑物安全。新建部分地面、墙体等安装在现有厂房内侧。外立面设计保留外轮廓致敬历史，传承形体记忆。
